Welcome

Bridge Street Counseling, located in the heart of Brighton, Colorado, was founded in 2010, by Chuck DeShazer out of a passion for serving the community. With over two decades in law enforcement, Chuck became adept at crisis management.

Witnessing countless individuals, couples and families in some of the most difficult circumstance in life that compelled them to involve law enforcement for help. Chuck developed a desire to help in a more in-depth way.

Drawing on his experiences in dealing with those in crisis situations, he added training and education to create a well-rounded approach to helping individuals, families and couples learn to communicate and interact in the most positive manners.
